Cura Terrae has become the first consultancy in the UK to adopt Mycelia for their Biodiversity Net Gain assessments.

With over 100 Local Planning Authorities already using Mycelia, this partnership marks an important step for Verna as we expand into the consultancy sector. By aligning with the same tools used by planning authorities, consultancies can achieve greater consistency in their submissions, reduce the risk of delays, and deliver smoother outcomes for their clients.

Felicity Husband, Technical Director of Ecology at Cura Terrae, commented: "This is a really exciting platform, used extensively by Local Planning Authorities, that provides a more user-friendly interface than the Statutory Biodiversity Metric, and very swiftly and succinctly informs the user of any errors, risks and omissions within a Metric."
